What are the aims of this homepage?

The aims of my WWW appearence are (in addition to the self-adulation)

1. simple orientation and easy navigation for the reader
2. usability independent to the used browser
3. nice design with small color tables
4. low netload
5. useful and interesting information

I know that it's impossible to create a perfect homepage for all readers. And I know that my page won't work with all browsers (some versions of mosaic can't handle HTML-tags inside of tables...), but I hope that I've found a good compromise.
